The Brand & Influencer Relations Manager works as a part of the company’s internal creative agency, Olé Creative, in Culver City, CA, and plays an integral role in developing, and executing influencer related projects across the agency. The Brand & Influencer Relations Manager will work directly with and provide guidance to Junior Managers and Account Coordinators on the Digital/Social team to ensure that all client needs are effectively and efficiently met.

The Brand & Influencer Relations Manager needs to have an extensive knowledge of digital marketing, social media and experience developing digital & influencer strategies to support client initiatives. He/she must have his/her pulse on culture that surrounds the genres of music, fashion, art, and sport. This person must be well versed in current trends and must demonstrate an ability to identify opportunities and develop plans accordingly.

Job Function:

We are looking for a talented, tech-savvy Brand & Influencer Relations Manager with a passion for relationship building, digital media and brand marketing. Your main function will be leading the creation of digital strategies to leverage influencer support, introducing partnerships and acting as a liaison between influencers/clients.

As a Brand & Influencer Manager, you will also be responsible for identifying relevant macro/micro-influencers, executing and managing influencer activations — including, but not limited to sponsored content, partnership programs and digital social promotions.


  • Manages client needs of assigned projects, including but not limited to; client communication, client approvals, ideation, concept development, status updates, event document preparation, budget oversite, digital oversight, social media monitoring, social metrics tracking, content coordination and project execution

  • Develops and builds social, digital & influencer strategies to align with client’s overarching goals

  • Prepares and presents creative proposals, programming concepts, and recap decks to clients

  • Tracks implementation of content that supports digital and social strategy and pulls corresponding analytics for all client programs

  • Oversees the progress of the project and reports back status to the client

  • Develops creative solutions to obstacles and budget constraints with client goals in mind

  • Provides constant, efficient communication between all parties, ensuring information regarding all projects is accurate

  • Displays and encourages high-level attention to detail on all communication, documents, and tasks

  • Adheres to company and client SOP on all awarded projects regarding purchasing, contracting, and approvals

  • Works with production team to develop production schedule based on client’s needs and communicates work-back schedule to the client

  • Delivers premium experience and high-level client management on all projects, regardless of size or budget

  • Maintains vital and comprehensive database of information and documents containing specific details of all projects

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related fields preferred)

  • Track record of 5+ years in a client services and creative strategy role ideally within an agency environment – Digital Media highly preferred

  • Experience and/or knowledge of the influencer landscape, and experience successfully managing and/or working with social media/digital influencers.

  • Strong knowledge of social media trends and an innate ability to organically implement trends into overall strategy

  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills

  • Skilled expository writing and oral presentation skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment with tight deadlines

  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)

  • Ability to prioritize and establish relationships with senior level clients to work to grow new and existing relationships

  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively

  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels, experience related to cannabis industry a plus

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus, but not necessary

  • Highly competent with MAC as well as MS Word, MS Excel, and Keynote

  • Passion and love for sport, music, art, fashion and culture as well as content creation, brand partnerships, and digital/social media

  • Enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed

  • Ability to be flexible and resourceful

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team setting

  • Ability to travel
