Fulfill a Logistics Coordinator position in Midland Park, NJ. The Logistics Coordinator works with the larger Logistics team on the preparation and execution of projects for the agency. The candidate must have knowledge of producing events and experience with basic warehouse management and operations. He/she provides support for all Logistics needs across the agency and must display the ability to be proactive and positively reactive. The ultimate goal of the position is to enhance the overall efficiency and productivity of the Logistics and Production functions within the agency.  

Job Function:

The Logistics Coordinator acts as an extension of the Logistics team and ultimately the greater Production team, having oversight support of all aspects of event logistics needs, to ensure that the client’s expectations are exceeded and that internal business objectives are met. 

  • Assist in the execution of all logistics needs as they pertain to event set-up and event strike
  • Ensure quality of all services and processes within the warehouse
  • Manage the maintenance, preparation, and routing of inventory lists for both event production needs and basic shipping needs
  • Review inventory lists and shipment contents for accuracy prior to receiving and releasing
  • Understand client objectives and ensure that all functions within the agency receive the proper logistics support needed to bring those objectives to life
  • Assist in the tracking of project spending, and review final costs/invoices for accuracy prior to submitting
  • Foster an environment that promotes premium consumer experience on all projects, regardless of size or budget
  • Develop creative solutions to obstacles and budget constraints with client goals in mind
  • Provide constant, efficient communication between all parties, ensuring that accurate information is being communicated at all times
  • Display a high-level attention to detail on all communication, documents, and tasks
  • Adhere to company SOWs on all projects regarding purchasing, contracting, and approvals
  • Maintain vital and comprehensive database of information and documents containing specific details of all projects

Requirements & Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of event production and/or warehousing experience
  • Experience with warehouse/inventory management processes and protocols
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to develop and maintain internal and external working relationships
  • Understanding of the event production industry as whole
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects at a given time
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Available to travel and work weekends as needed
